Modbus IO Serial Transmitters |
Modbus IO devices allow you to build networks of easy to use IO devices for data logging, control. In addition Modbus devices may be used to extend your PLC to functions it may not natively contain like true RMS, or interface to analyzers, etc.
PC software is available to read these modules from many sources. SuperView provides a small easy to use PC interface with graphical and data logging capability. Alternately CorsairHMI provides a scalable intuitive HMI program with multiple device interfaces. Some manufacturers also offer free software that will work if at least one of their products is included in the network.
In addition many Controllers (CAL and
Novus) Panel Meters (Laurel)
and other instruments (analyzers, scales, etc) have optional Modbus Serial
Interfaces.
