YSI 4000 Dual Channel Precision Thermometer
The
YSI PrecisionTM
4000A Thermometer provides highly accurate, continuous patient
temperature
monitoring in a variety of medical settings including surgery, post-operative,
critical care, and clinics. The two-channel design allows clinicians to monitor
multiple patient sites simultaneously, for example, patient core body
temperature and surface temperature.
The YSI PrecisionTM 4000A
Thermometer
is designed to be used with any of the YSI
Precision 400 Series Reusable Temperature probes or YSI PrecisionTM
4400 Disposable Temperature probes. High and low alarm points are set separately
for each channel. The alarm indication is a beeper and flashing display.
The measurement range is 0 to 50°C (32 to 122°F). A self-calibration feature
assures optimum accuracy and verifies correct operation. The temperature reading
in each display will blank automatically whenever the input is outside the range
limits. The display will also blank if a temperature probe becomes electrically
open or shorts. There is a switch to toggle temperature reading displays between
degrees C or degrees F.
This portable, rugged instrument is battery operated. The handle can be used to
support the instrument for easier reading on a bench top. An optional bracket is
available for mounting the instrument on a pole, table or shelf. Temperature
probes are not provided as part of the YSI PrecisionTM 4000A
Thermometer but you can purchase the
YSI Precision 400 Series probe that best suits your application.
